Well-Children

 The kids both had well-child visits last week - Maddox's 4 year and Cecelia's 18 month. They both did great and are growing and maturing perfectly. We were pleased to report to our pediatrician that Cecelia is saying between 15 and 20 words, and while we were concerned about Maddox's pronunciation of some letters at last year's appointment, he has worked really hard lately and is now pronouncing his "troublesome" letters and the doctor had absolutely no concerns about his speech! Cecelia had to get one shot and Maddox had the choice of getting his kindergarten shots either this year or next. That was a no-brainer. Ask a kid if he wants shots and what do you expect? Since we didn't know he would be needing them and didn't prepare him at all, we opted to wait until next year.
This doctor's appointment outing was also a special occasion for Cece: the first time we tried out pig-tails. I think they are absolutely adorable! As for their stats...
