Hi! Megan here. As you can see, I've made some changes to the blog. I'm not entirely sure if I like the new layout or design yet, so more changes may be in the works, but it'll have to do for now. I'll be taking over the majority of the posting, but Maddox, and eventually Cecelia, will be doing some guest blogging as well.
The title of this particular post doesn't apply just to the blog layout. Big changes have taken place around our house as well with the arrival of Miss Cecelia. I can't believe she is already 2 weeks old, but at the same time, it seems she's been in our lives forever. She really is a good baby and is pretty quiet throughout the day. She's starting to become a little more high maintenance when it comes to the pacifier. She likes to suck on something in order to help her fall asleep, but instead of taking a regular old pacifier, she insists on sucking on either my or Scott's finger. Her fussy period is in the evening from around 9 pm to around 11 pm. But once she's finally quieted down and asleep, she will sleep for a couple 4 hour stretches at night, only waking once or twice to eat. We are considering ourselves pretty lucky in that respect. Also, both kids tend to sleep at the same time in the afternoon, so I'm able to get in a quick nap or do some laundry.

Maddox is still pretty good with his new sister. He tends to ignore her for the most part, but gets concerned when she cries. I don't know if it's just the "terrible twos" or the arrival of Cecelia, but he has been pretty whiny and defiant lately. He's the sweetest thing when he wants to be, but then does a 180 and the horns come out.
And now for a little fun. I wanted to compare the belly shots of me when I was in the hospital to be induced with both babies. With Maddox (the first picture), I was 41 weeks. He ended up being 8 lbs. 6 oz. With Cecelia, I was 40 weeks exactly, and she ended up being 9 lbs. 14 oz. I ended up gaining 10 more pounds this pregnancy than I did with the first. Considering these facts, I thought I had to be bigger with Cecelia, but now looking at the pictures, I think I was actually bigger with Maddox!

And finally, the debut of Miss Cecelia's modeling career. She had her newborn pictures taken at Arbor Photographics last week. The fabulous photographer, Jolene, posted a preview picture from the session on her blog. Check out the pic of the adorable baby on the breadbox. This makes me so excited to see the rest of the pictures!

Wow! Love the Words from the Woods tag--cute. The breadbox picture is too adorable!!! Glad to hear she's a good baby. I remember those 180 behavior days with Felix too, the Daphne adjustment was tough at times. It's so interesting to see how they develop. Enjoy and get some sleep Mama!
Congrats! The new site looks great! :) She is SO adorable!!! I'm counting on you to give me all kinds of good tips about two now!!! ;)
