We celebrated New Year's with our good friends and neighbors, the DeRosier's. We made a yummy dinner of beef tenderloin, snow crab legs, salad and cheddar biscuits (the kids ate mac 'n cheese).

The movie didn't put anyone to sleep. Instead, I think the kids all got a second wind after it. Aubrey and Cecelia were as cute as ever:
A few of our neighbors planned a house crawl, where every hour starting at 7 pm, you'd go to a different house for drinks and snacks. We didn't want to miss out on all that fun, so at 11 pm, we bundled all the kids up and walked over to the last neighborhood stop to ring in the New Year. There were a bunch more kids there, so the little ones were occupied while the adults played cards. We nearly missed the ball drop, and by time we got home, it was 1:30 am!!
Call us irresponsible for letting the kids stay up that late, or call us the coolest parents ever for letting them have fun with their friends way past their bedtime - I don't care - it was fun, although i think we all paid for it the next day! :)
