Easter

In a segment I like to call "better late than never", here are pictures from Easter Sunday. As I said before, my parents were down and both the regular Easter Bunny and Grandma & Grandpa Easter Bunny paid the kids a visit and left lots of fun stuff in their baskets:

Then began the egg hunt. The Easter Bunny was a little more lazy this year and hid the eggs inside instead of [crawling out of bed] and battling the chilly night air to hide them outside. The kids didn't seem to mind. Maddox was very good about looking for eggs and checking to see if they had an "M" or a "C" on them. He pointed out Cece's eggs, but left them untouched for her to find. Too bad she wasn't very into it and in fact, still hasn't found all her eggs in the basement yet. Mad's eggs had candy in them and Cecelia's had colored goldfish crackers.

 Cecelia was more interested in riding her pony than looking for eggs:

We spent some time inside with the new Easter treasures and then headed outside to play with all the new bubbles the Easter Bunny brought.

The kids both looked so nice in their Easter outfits (thanks for the dress, Grandma Danni!). We attempted some outdoor photos of Mad and Cece together and they actually didn't turn out too bad.
